Last school day in Anchorage!!!

Today we had our last school visit for the year!!!!  We really enjoyed going to visit the classrooms.  That drive to anchorage is just getting old!  On our last visit we had a presentation with Snickers.  It went really well and we headed home.  The day started out cloudy and ended looking like this...

It was a beautiful day!  After work I even went for a 4 mile jog/walk.  This weather just puts me in a workout mood.  How can you stay indoors when it looks so nice outside!  After the jog we decided to go to Virgin Creek.  We all hoped into the yukon and headed to Girdwood.

Last time I went to the creek the frozen waterfall looked like this...

Now only a month later it looks like this.....

You probably can not tell, but it is half the size......


There was even another waterfall that has melted through....

I walked further up the trail and was able to see more of the creek.

The trees were gorgeous...
